Who is she
GIANTDAUGHTER is a multidimensional lifestyle project encompassing art, education, and creative initiatives, brought to life by me, Rachel Alexandrou.
The name GIANTDAUGHTER originated during a time in my life marked by persistent anxiety and panic attacks. I created a comic to depict this anxious, stressed version of myself, naming her GIANTDAUGHTER to help me separate my struggles from my core self. Initially just a sketch in my notebook, this character became a powerful symbol over the years. Through my deepening passions—working with plants in herbalism, farming, and art—GIANTDAUGHTER evolved from a coping mechanism into a lifelong companion and creative force.
GIANTDAUGHTER provided me with the space to reconnect with my true self, inviting self-reflection and resilience. It’s a persona anyone can embrace—a path back to one’s own inner voice and connection to nature.
Partners and clients
I work with art organizations, land trusts, businesses, and schools to provide experiential education for all ages of people interested in land stewardship, herbalism and wild plants as food.
If you are a person or organization interested in talking about programming, I would love to hear from you.
