Made from leaves of the native fireweed plant that grows prolifically in downeast Maine. I hand roll and ferment the leaves, a traditional process that deepens the flavor of the tea. The flavor is similar to a black tea with a hint of fruitiness. Fireweed tea is caffeine free and known for its anti-inflammatory properties and contains high amounts of antioxidants. 

Brew instructions: 1 tsp per cup steep for up to ten minutes for a bold flavor. You may re-steep the tea leaves.
